Alec Baldwin Says He Doesn’t Feel Guilty For Shooting Halyna Hutchins

Alec Baldwin broke down in tears and claimed he didn’t pull the trigger of the gun that killed Halyna Hutchins.

Hutchins was killed when a prop gun held by Baldwin on the set of the movie Rust was discharged.

Speaking to ABC, Baldwin claimed he never pulled the trigger of the gun.

Baldwin was asked how the bullet even got in the gun. He replied:

“I have no idea. Someone put a live bullet in a gun. A bullet that wasn’t even supposed to be on the property.”

He also began crying when talking about Hutchins and how loved and admired she was.

“She was someone who was loved by everyone who worked with [her] and liked by everyone who worked with [her] and admired,”

“I mean, even now, I find it hard to believe. It just doesn’t seem real to me.”

Baldwin was asked if he feels guilt for shooting Hutchins, to which he replied no.

“No. Someone is responsible for what happened and I can’t say who that is, but I know it’s not me.”

The investigation into how this tragedy happened is ongoing.
