Amber Heard’s Friend Slams Depp’s Female Supporters for Hating Actress Out of ‘Envy’

Amber Heard’s friend Eve Barlow has slammed Johnny Depp’s female supporters for hating the actress out of ‘envy’.

Barlow, who is a British music/culture journalist based in LA and a close friend of the actress has accused women of simply being full of “envy” and “low self-esteem”. Women “hate” Heard out of “jealousy of her attractiveness”, says Barlow.

Law expert Dr Charlotte Proudman tweeted:

‘I was invited to speak on a podcast about Depp v Heard. The interviewer said that many of Depp’s supporters are women and they hate Amber Heard. I’m seeing the hatred of women & antifeminist views rising amongst women. Do women hate other women? And if you think they do, why?’

To which Barlow replied:

‘AH [Amber Heard] had to fight for her life, despite her position and assumed privileges. She still wasn’t afforded a savior. It’s much easier to get behind a woman who plays the damsel in distress than it is to empathize with a woman who has had to liberate herself.’

The journalist tweeted:

‘It’s easy for women with low self-esteem to hate AH [Amber Heard] or justify their prejudice towards archetypal feminine strength/beauty by denying their envy of it,’

‘They perceive an afforded power that’s truly a myth, and excuse their own inefficiency at being resilient against misogyny.’

The journalist was forcibly removed from the courtroom during Heard and Johnny Depp’s defamation trial in Fairfax, Virgina for texting and tweeting in the front row.
