Dog Abandoned at Animal Shelter Because Owners Thought he was Gay

A North Carolina dog named Fezco was abandoned and sent to an animal shelter because his owners thought he was gay.

Fezco was sent to the shelter in Stanly County after his owners saw him humping another male dog.

Obviously, the owners’ reaction is ridiculous…dogs do this as a sign of dominance, and even if the dog was gay, so what?

The shelter has shared the pooches’ story on Facebook, letting prospective new owners know he is a good boy, kind to people and other dogs.

Watch the news story below:

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals state that in relation to other animals, people and other dogs:

‘mounting, thrusting (humping) and masturbation are normal behaviours exhibited by most dogs’

Applications to take the 5-year-old pooch home have been flooding in, according to WCCB TV.

As for the previous owners, maybe don’t get any new pets…
