Elon Musk and James Franco Won’t Testify at Johnny Depp and Amber Heard Trial

Elon Musk and James Franco will not testify at the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard defamation trial.

Depp launched a lawsuit against Heard in 2019, after the Aquaman star described herself as a victim of domestic abuse in a 2018 article she penned in The Washington Post. The trial began Monday 11 April in Fairfax, Virginia.

Musk and Franco were expected to testify in court as they both appeared on Heard’s list of potential witnesses.

It has now been confirmed, however, that neither will be appearing in court, despite Franco’s tie to the 58-year-old’s libel suit in 2020 against The Sun and Musk’s previous relationship with Heard.

Heard had previously stated that Franco was a witness to the alleged abuse that she experience from Depp, when she said he threw a phone at her.

Musk used to visit the actress when “Depp was not at home” “a few times a week” as stated by the building’s doorman, Alejandro Romero, and according to Depp, the pair were allegedly having an affair.

Both Franco and Musk have claimed that their relationship with the actress only began after she had filed for divorce from Depp.

So the case continues…
