Elon Musk says He’s Homeless and ‘Rotates’ Among Friends’ Houses

The world’s richest man, Elon Musk, says he is in fact homeless and ‘rotates’ among friends’ houses.

Speaking in a interview with TED, the billionaire said that he doesn’t own a home and has been sleeping on his friend’s spare beds, when working in the San Francisco’s Bay Area near his Tesla HQ.

The SpaceX founder said:

“I don’t even own a place right now, I’m literally staying at friends’ places,”

“If I travel to the Bay Area, which is where most of Tesla’s engineering is, I basically rotate through friends’ spare bedrooms”.

In defence of his enormous wealth, Musk added that he does not have a yacht and does not take holidays:

“I don’t have yacht, I don’t take vacations, so it’s not as that my personal consumption is high,”

“One exception is a plane but if I don’t use the plane I have less hours to work.”
