In a surprising turn of events, Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, has revealed his impressively toned physique following a rigorous training session with UFC stars. The billionaire tech mogul, who is gearing up for a highly anticipated showdown with his Twitter rival, Elon Musk, posed for photos alongside UFC Featherweight Champion Alex Volkanovski and two-time UFC Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya at a gym in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.

Adesanya took to Instagram to share the encounter, writing, “‘No fugazi with Mark.’ This is Serious Business!!” Zuckerberg, clearly honored by the opportunity, commented on the post, expressing his gratitude for training with the esteemed fighters. The training sessions are part of Zuckerberg’s preparation for his upcoming fight against Musk, with whom he has been engaged in a public feud since the launch of Threads, Meta’s competitor to Twitter.

Last week, it was confirmed that Zuckerberg had approached Volkanovski about training him for his MMA fight against Musk. The Meta CEO is known to be a fan of UFC and has developed a friendship with Volkanovski in recent years. The Australian fighter acknowledged their bond, stating, “Yeah, he’s a mate. I knew well before he made the appearance at the UFC that he’s a big fan. He loves the sport. I do consider him my mate. Again, he’s a cool dude, we get along.”

While Zuckerberg’s connection with Volkanovski is well-established, it remains unclear whether he has a similar relationship with Adesanya. However, several UFC fighters, including Jon Jones, have extended offers to train Zuckerberg, highlighting the interest and support he has garnered within the MMA community.

On the other hand, Elon Musk has also received training offers from notable mixed martial artists such as Jorge Masvidal, Dominick Cruz, and Georges St-Pierre. Although a confirmed date and official announcement for the highly anticipated bout between Musk and Zuckerberg have yet to be revealed, last week Musk admitted that he requires “a lot more training” after grueling sessions with Georges St-Pierre, widely regarded as one of the greatest fighters in MMA history.

Musk shared a photo alongside St-Pierre, popular podcaster and combat expert Lex Fridman, and martial arts instructor John Danaher. GSP, as St-Pierre is affectionately known, also posted the same image, humorously commenting on the collective intellect displayed in the photo. Musk, in response, tweeted, “Really fun! The obvious conclusion is that I need a lot more training.”

Earlier in June, Musk was spotted training with a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt specialist, further demonstrating his commitment to preparation for the upcoming battle between the tech titans.

Fans eagerly anticipate further updates on the Musk vs. Zuckerberg faceoff, as both billionaires continue to hone their skills in preparation for their highly anticipated fight.
