An actress who featured in Dr Strange has been sentenced to eight years in prison for a number of sex attacks on a teen girl.
Zara Phythian, who played a Zealot alongside Benedict Cumberbatch and Mads Mikkelsen in the hit film, has been found guilty, along with her husband Victor Marke.
The couple jointly groomed and abused the girl between 2005 and 2008, starting when the victim was just 13.
Phythian’s husband has also been found guilty of indecently assaulting a second victim and was given a 14-year sentence.
The Hollywood actress, 36, and her Taekwondo ‘master’ husband, 59, were found guilty of 14 historic counts of sexual activity with the victim, last week.
Judge Mark Watson told the pair he believed the abuse was pre-planned. The actress was sentenced to 8 years prison time.
The couple met when the actress was a child herself, at 14 and Marke was 37. They started a sexual relationship at the ages of 19 and 42.
