People Are Canceling ‘Love Actually’ For Being Problematic

If you were to ask the whole of America what your favorite Christmas movie is, the most popular answer would likely be Love Actually or Home Alone.

But if we’re to listen to Twitter, we should stop watching the classic rom-com, because it’s seriously problematic, and you probably didn’t notice.

The movie’s synopsis reads:

Love Actually follows the lives of eight very different couples in dealing with their love lives in various loosely interrelated tales all set during a frantic month before Christmas in London, England.

As people start watching Christmas movies, Twitter is being flooded with feminists who’ve noticed how wrong the movie is.

One viewer wrote:

Watching #LoveActually for the first time this season. It’s problematic for several reasons: fat-shaming a beautiful woman for no reason, Mark’s gross voyeuristic obsession with his best friends wife

People trying to cancel the movie has sparked huge debate on the social media platform.

So we might be best sticking to Home Alone, although I’m sure that’ll be canceled soon for either glamorising abandoning a child or something.
