This House that Got Swallowed by the Sea is Worth Over $381k, According to Zillow

This house that just got swallowed by sea in North Carolina is worth $381k, according to Zillow.

A crazy video, which has now gone viral, caught the moment an empty home was taken by the ocean – the second property to end up in the water that same day.

Cape Hatteras National Seashore posted the footage on Tuesday, warning people to stay away from the beach as other properties also risk collapse.

Watch below:

Miles of the beach have been closed off since the first property collapsed on February 9.

The superintendent at National Parks of Eastern North Carolina, David Hallac, said:

“Unfortunately, there may be more houses that collapse onto Seashore beaches in the near future,”

“We proactively reached out to homeowners along Ocean Drive in Rodanthe after the first house collapse and recommended that actions be taken to prevent collapse and impacts to Cape Hatteras National Seashore.”

As the crazy video created some traction online, so did the hashtag #Zillow, after a reporter for WPRI noticed the house was still listed for $381,200.

Reporter Tolly Taylor pointed out the the current owner bought the home in November 2020 for $275k and was looking to secure a profit on their investment…it’s safe to say that’s looking unlikely now.
