Brooke Schofield, a YouTuber and podcaster, has recently come forward with claims about her past relationship with comedian Matt Rife, alleging that she was part of a group chat with several other women who were also dating Rife at the same time. This revelation has added to the controversy surrounding Rife, who has been in the public eye following a Netflix special where he made a joke about domestic violence.

Schofield, known for her podcast “Cancelled with Tana Mongeau,” disclosed that she and Rife were involved, though she hesitates to label him as an ex. She described their relationship as more than casual, saying, “I wouldn’t say he was my ex or anything because it wasn’t like this serious relationship, but it wasn’t just hooking up with him — I really liked him.” Schofield accused Rife of “love-bombing” her, a term used to describe a partner who shows excessive affection and attention initially, only to withdraw it abruptly.

The situation escalated when Schofield discovered a TikTok video by another woman claiming to have dated Rife during the same period. This led to Schofield joining a WhatsApp group chat with other women who shared similar experiences with Rife. “There were timelines, there were Venn diagrams, we were comparing notes,” Schofield explained. She expressed her astonishment at Rife’s ability to juggle multiple relationships, remarking, “I’m telling you, Tana, for a man who doesn’t have time, this man had the most time.”

The controversy surrounding Rife deepened following his appearance on the Stiff Socks podcast. During the show, he made derogatory comments about women’s bodies, specifically criticizing “outie” v*ginas. Schofield, who revealed she has an “outie” v*gina, felt personally attacked by Rife’s comments. “Imagine how I felt, he literally just went on a podcast and was like: ‘Yeah, I’m f**king repulsed by this b*tch’.”

Rife’s behavior continued to draw criticism when he allegedly told a six-year-old that his mother buys his Christmas gifts with money earned from her O*lyF*ns account. This incident further tarnished Rife’s public image, leading to increased scrutiny and backlash.
